Your dual studies at the PHWT
The dual study program combines university studies with company practice. The most important key qualifications are acquired in a combination of theory and practice.
Depending on the course of study, the bachelor’s program lasts 6 to 7 semesters; the master’s program in business administration lasts 5 semesters with a master’s thesis. Each semester is divided into a theory phase and a practical phase in the company.
Your classical studies at the PHWT
With a university entrance qualification, you can also be admitted directly to all degree programs without parallel education in a company. You will then have to pay the tuition fees yourself. In return, you are not “tied” to a company and can pursue your interests more.
Nevertheless, you study together with dual students and benefit from their input from practice. However, during the practical phases of the dual students you have more time to work on projects and research topics of the professors, can study longer at a partner university or enjoy longer semester breaks.
