Nicolai Thiel Prize
The Nicolai Thiel Prize, endowed with 2,000 euros, is awarded annually to outstanding members of the PHWT in Vechta. This prize honors students and members of the university whose achievements enhance the reputation of the university and strengthen the sense of community.
Significance of the Nicolai Thiel Prize:
The prize stands for academic excellence, social commitment and innovation at PHWT. It provides an excellent opportunity to recognize and honor extraordinary contributions within the university community.

Participation and submission process:
Proposals for the prize are accepted by the university management. Applications with concepts, teaching materials or other relevant documents must be submitted to the university management, which then forwards them to the Nicolai Thiel Foundation with a justification.
Dr. Dehmel Prize
The Dr. Dehmel Prize, which is awarded by the PHWT, is a prestigious award that comes with prize money of 500 euros. This prize is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the further development of the PHWT and outstanding social skills. The prize serves as recognition for students who are actively involved in the university community and make a significant contribution to the positive development of the PHWT.
